Review:
Packaging: If nothing else, this soundtrack has some of the best packaging I've ever seen. It has a nice picture of the cast of the game on the front of the case, with the track list and track lengths in a cool design on the back. The "Hero" CD features a cool picture of Sonic, and the "Dark" CD features a cool picture of Shadow the Hedgehog. If that wasn't enough, the soundtrack also comes with a sticker, a poster, and a track-list/lyrics sheet with cool pictures from the game. I would have preferred the track-list/lyrics in a booklet rather than on a poster, but thats a minor gripe, oh, and the poster paper is really high quality.
Packaging Rating: A

Music: The music on the CD has it's ups and downs. And by "downs" I refer mostly to the Raps from the Knuckles levels. It's not that I dislike rap, but rap about how Knuckles is a bad ass, and looking for the Master Emerald parts is a little lame. Aside from that, the music in the game is good, high energy music. Some of my favorite tracks are Won't Stop, Just Go! for Green Forest, Highway in the Sky for Final Rush, Mr. Unsmiley for Sky Rail, and Supporting Me for the Biolizard battle. The Chao remixes are good, happy-bouncy music and are a nice change of pace at the end of the first CD.
Music Rating: B+

CD/Track Length: The tracks are about the right length, and each CD contains more than 75 min worth of music. All around a good job in this department.
Length Rating: B

Other Misc: Nothing much to say here, overall, the soundtrack has a lot of energy so if you're looking for calmer stuff, look elsewhere. Otherwise this is a good bundle of music.

Final Rating (not an average): B+
